None of the cabling is cut on the mobile radio. I've never had the encryption feature activated in either radio.īoth work well and have been programmed for testing purposes only. ![]() I never had them upgraded to Phase 2 as I never had a need for it. P25 Phase 1 Trunking and conventional operation are active in both radios. GPS is active in both and the mobile does work on VHF Low receive and, 200 mW transmit. It has the CH-100 control head (remote mount), all the cabling, mounting brackets, speaker and, GPS antenna.īoth radios have all four bands active. The radio has never been carried on duty or off. Harris PSPC says this is likely the pins (Pogo pins?) probably should be replaced. Once in a while, I have connection issues with the battery pins on the radio and they have to be pushed all the way in and released a time or two in order to eliminate the problem. The portable has two batteries (no guarantees but they hold a good charge for months on end), a charger, shoulder mic and, two antennas (one long, one short). ![]() I have an XG-100 portable and the companion mobile radio to go with it. I bought these radios several years ago in hopes of using them with my firefighting and law enforcement work. I have, after several years, decided I should part ways with my XG-100 equipments here. ![]()
